Our Story
- Nathan and Sharlynn Heinitz
- Nathan and I met in the Fall semester of 2006. We had a field trip geology class together with his brother Isaac. I thought he was handsome and he thought I was cute, but I was a freshman and he was an RM, so we were just friends. On one of our trips I overheard him placing a bet on who would be the first girl in our class to get married and he chose me...little did he know! On the last day of class Nathan asked me to go with him and some friends to Diamond Fork hot springs (I didn't know at the time but he was setting me up on a date with Isaac, his brother!) Ironically, that night it snowed for the first time of the season, and somehow I ended with Nathan playing in the snow, bowling, and drinking hot chocolate, while Isaac and Nathan's date went dancing. Two months later we were engaged and on May 1st, 2007 we were married in the Salt Lake City Temple.
